Turmeric Side Effects

Turmeric is a safe product but, at the same time that any other product, may have adverse reactions to some people (when the dosage written on the package is not respected, is not a pure product or is consumed in some periods such as pregnancy).

During pregnancy, consuming turmeric in foods seems to be safe, but as supplements may not be, so avoid overusing in this period.

Turmeric and curcumin have positive effects in preventing cancer, but can not be said the same once it was triggered.

Low-quality turmeric may be mixed with wheat, starch or food colorants and obviously will cause adverse symptoms in people with gluten intolerance and not only.
